Anyways, Marlee's heartbeat was great and easy to find! She seems to be doing just fine. She is always moving and feels like she is doing flips while she still has the room. We are able to feel and see most of her movements if I am laying on my back, Trey loves it! He says, "She just kicked me!" It's really cute.
Trey loves her, talks to her, kisses my belly and tells her goodnight, he is going to be a great big brother.
Dr. Jardine did calm my fears regarding the c-section. I am scheduled for one in late September, at least 1 weeks prior to my due date, October 7th. Since, my natural delivery with Trey was not a great experience, Dr. Mancini recommended this one being delivered via c-section. I completely agreed until I began to ask others about their c-section experience and do research myself. I did learn some things I was unaware of and had many questions today. While some of the procedures you cannot change, for the most part it will probably be the best choice for me and my situation. She did say that we don't have to decide now that we can wait and see how large the baby gets.
The time is flying by, she will be here before we know it. We began to get our house ready by moving the office furniture to the barn so that Marlee can have her own little room. Now we can decide what bedding and colors we want in her room, pink of course! Going to take this family a little while to get used to pink walls, YIKES! LOL....
Look for the next update as we sweat through a HOT summer!
